Wondering how to fix your credit when you have negative items on your credit reports? It may not be as impossible as you think, but it certainly can be time consuming. At 2nd Chance Credit, we specialize in removing negative items from your credit reports by using our proven credit repair program.

Regardless of whether the negative items are caused by missed bills, identity theft, unverifiable information, or even inaccurate or misleading information, we will work hard to clean up your credit reports so that you can get better interest rates and higher loans. No matter how careful you have been about paying your bills and maintaining good credit scores, we know that from time to time, it can get difficult to stay on top of your obligations. That's why we will work hard to remove any bankruptcies, late payments, repossessions, tax liens, and more from your credit reports so that you can have a fresh start. After all, at 2nd Chance Credit, we believe in second chances.

Here's how we'll go about cleaning up your credit score:

  1. We'll obtain a copy of your current credit report to review with you and our team of expert credit repair specialists. We'll discuss options with you that may help to remove unwanted items from your credit score.

  2. After we have reviewed your options with you, we will begin the process of repairing all three of your credit reports. Often, this means writing letters to the three credit bureaus on your behalf. The credit bureaus will then begin an investigation into the unwanted items on your credit report. Because this process usually takes many months, we will follow up with the credit bureaus on your behalf so nothing gets left behind

NOTE: In the event that a credit bureau ignores your dispute, we will continue follow ups on your behalf. After all, federal laws allow credit bureaus to ignore your disputes. When you work with 2nd Chance Credit, you can rest easy knowing that we'll go to bat for you until your credit issues is resolved.

  3. After we have begun the credit bureau investigation, we will follow up with lenders and collection agencies to ensure that they have properly reported your account information. We will draft letters to collection agencies and lenders in which, we will request the required documentation for your account. However, these lenders will often not be able to produce this required documentation. In such a case, they will be forced to remove the negative item from your credit reports.

  4. Finally, the credit bureaus will send an updated credit report to your home within 15 days of the completion of the credit bureau investigation. If there are any outstanding items on the credit reports, we will continue to fight for you on your behalf until all negative items have been removed from your credit reports.
